Who are we?

We are Edirisinghe Brothers Limited (Pvt) Ltd. (EBL).

Don Simon Edirisinghe established EBL ‘Auto Court’ in 1947. A brilliant entrepreneur and an established automotive engineer, his decision to set up a workshop to handle the vehicle servicing and engineering needs of automobile users in Sri Lanka – when cars and trucks were still relatively few on the roads – was truly visionary.

Since then we’ve earned a reputation as Sri Lanka’s most trusted automotive engineering workshop. A pioneering spirit has always been at the core of our operations – EBL Auto Court’s  engine-rebuilding service changed the landscape of the local automobile marketing – and we choose to underscore that hard-earned reputation by revitalizing the lifestyles of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) owners.
